Koi Carp ,Flowers and Sign Writing

I wanted to make some pots to decorate and found some cardboard rolls to give structure to  slabs of porcelain clay.I read in a book that you cover them with newspaper so that they can easily slip off before the clay begins to shrink, but I decided the paper probably needed wetting. Not a good idea! But they did come off with a bit of force. I youre thinking of having a go the paper has to be dry.So a trio of wonky pots inspired by the Koi Carp from Angelsey Sea Zoo and Summery flowers.
The signs are for our Local Produce Market. It will be a sandwich board.I thought Id finished it but seeing it on this blog has made me realise that some of the letters are too thin! Its funny how shrinking it down has this effect and yes I know one of the arrows is fatter than the other.A little inperfection gives it a more homely look.

Thankyou  Angharad ( Crefftau Nodwydd ), my neighbour at this market, for the lovely old tin of buttons.I am a crazed button fanatic so what a lovely treat.Your appliqued bags and cushions are beautiful!
